WILL OF George CRICKMORE 1883 and Codicil 1886

I, George Crickmore, of 3 Church Villas St Johns Road New Cross in the County of Kent, Gentleman, hereby revoke all other Wills and make my last Will and Testament as follows.
I appoint my friends William Mace and Charles Mace both of Old Ford Bow in the County of Middlesex to be Executors of this my Will and Trustees for the purposes hereinafter expressed
I give to my wife Charlotte Crickmore a legacy of fifty pounds to be paid to her as soon as conveniently may be after my decease for her immediate expences.
I give to my said trustees all my furniture, plate, linen, china, books, prints, pictures, wearing apparel, jewelry and other household and personal effects, upon trust to permit my said wife to have the use and enjoyment thereof during her life. And after her decease, Upon Trust for my daughter Caroline Crickmore absolutely.
And I direct that neither my said wife, nor my trustees, shall be responsible for any loss or injury to any of the chattels which are the subject of the preceding trust. I give to my trustees all my property of every kind not herein before disposed of Upon trust that they my trustees do sell and convert the same into money. But I declare that my trustees may postpone the sale of my real and personal estate, or any part thereof, for so long as they may think fit, and that notwithstanding the deteriorating or hazardous nature of the property retained, the net rents, profits and income to accrue from and after my decease from such parts of my real and personal estate as shall for the time being remain unsold and uncovenanted, shall be paid and applied to the persons, and in the manner to whom, and in which, the income of the moneys produced by such sale and conversion would for the time being be payable or applicable under this my Will if such sale and conversion had actually been made.
And after payment thereout of my debts and funeral expences and the legacies hereby given do invest the moneys to arise by such sale and conversions in manner hereinafter directed And do stand possessed of the stocks funds or securities in or upon which the same shall from time to time be invested In trust to pay the income thereof to my wife during her life.,. And after her decease I direct that my trustees shall stand possessed of the capital of the said investments, In trust for my daughters Caroline Crickmore and Charlotte Wrangham in equal shares as tenants in common, and not as joint tenants.
Provided always that in the final division of the residuary trust fund between my said two daughters it shall not be necessary to assign to each daughter or her representatives a share of each specific property or investment) but that my trustees may allow to each daughter such properties or investments as shall be equal or as nearly equal as may be to her share of my residuary trust fund and in this respect the decision of my trustees shall be final and binding on all persons interested under this my Will.
And I direct that any trustees shall have power to invest any moneys which may from time to time be in their hands, subject to the trusts of this my Will, in the Government funds of Great Britain, or on mortgage of real or leasehold estate in England or Wales (such leasehold estate being held for any lease of years of which at least not less than sixty years shall be unexpired at the time of the investment or in the debentures or debenture stock of any railway or other company in Great Britain incorporated by Act of Parliament or Royal Charter and paying at the time of the investment a dividend on its ordinary stock or shares, or in the stock of the Government of India, or in the purchase of any Indian Railway Stock, whereas a fixed or minimum rate of interest or dividend is or shall be guaranteed by the Government of India with power to vary or transpose the said securities into or for others of the nature aforesaid).
I declare that all the powers hereby given to my trustees may be exercised by the survivor of them, or their or his assigns or by any person who shall for the time being be a duly appointed acting trustee of this my Will.
In witness hereof I have hereto set my hand this thirtieth day of March one thousand eight hundred and eighty three

CODICILI, George Crickmore, of No 3 Church Villas St John's Road New Cross in the County of Kent, Gentleman, declare this to be a Codicil to my last Will and Testament dated the thirtieth day of March one thousand eight hundred and eighty three
whereas by my said Will I have appointed William Mace and Charles Mace both of Old Ford Bow in the County of Middlesex to be Executors and Trustees thereof, Now I hereby revoke such appointment and in their place and stead I appoint Richard Hunt of No 2 Lewisham High Road in the County of Kent, Gentleman, and George Robert Wrangham of 93 Tyrwhitt Road New Cross in the said County of Kent, Gentleman, to be Executors and Trustees of my said Will.
And I declare that my said Will shall accordingly be read and construed as if the names of the said Richard Hunt and George Robert Wrangham had been inserted therein throughout instead of the names of the said William Mace and Charles Mace. And in all other respects I confirm my said Will, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fourteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and eighty six
signed by the said George Crickmore, as and for a Codicil to his said Will, in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

On the 28th day of November 1892 Probate of this Will with a Codicil was granted to Richard Hunt one of the Executors
