First I direct all my just debts to be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and from after the payment thereof and subject thereto and of my Funeral and Testamentary Charges and expences.
I give and bequeath all my ready Money and Securities for Money, Monies in the Public Funds, Book debts and all my Household Goods and Household Furniture, Plate, Linen, China and all in Stock in Trade, and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind so ever, unto my five children: Sarah Crickmore, John Crickmore, Lydia the Wife of Robert Waller, Mary Crickmore and Harriott Crickmore equally to be divided between them, share and share alike as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
And I make nominate and appoint my said daughter Sarah Crickmore and Sarah the wife of William Howard joint executors of this my Will and Guardians of such of my Children that may happen to be under age at my decease and hereby revoking all former wills by me made declare this to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said John Crickmore the Testator have herunto set my hand and seal this first day of May one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine The Mark of John Crickmore. Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator John Crickmore as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and of each other have set our names as witnesses to the same Edwd Hooley, Phil Cowley This will was proved at London the twenty third day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred before the Worshipful Charles Cook, Doctor of Laws, Surrogate to the Right Honourable Sir William (?)Clapam Knight, Master of (?)Jpd, Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the (?)order of Sarah Howard wife of William Howard, and Sarah Crickmore spinster: the daughter of the deceased, the Executors named in the said will to whom administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and (?)Credits of the said deceased was granted their having been first sworn ? to administer.
