NATALIE ANNE BROWN's story

This account has been adapted from "Browns of Kyeburn Peninsula" by Wally Brown - to whom many thanks

Natalie was educated in Cromwell, her town of birth. She played both hockey and basketball as well as doing a lot of swimming. She trained in Dunedin as a hairdresser where she continued hairdressing until her family was imminent.

Owen, her husband, was one of twins and worked in the office of a carrying company for 31 years. He then became full time secretary of the Dunedin RSA. (Returned Servicemen's Association). As a lad, Owen played soccer but now enjoys a round of golf and has also been involved with Round Table and Lions.

Natalie went back to part time hairdressing and enjoys ceramic classes and gardening. They have a family of three.
