WILL OF William Meuse 1720

I, William Mewse of the parish of St John, Wappimg in the county of Middlesex, Butcher, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do for avoiding controversies after my decease make and ordain my last will and testament in manner following.

Ffirst I recommend my soul unto the hands of almighty Godand as to my body I will to the earth to be buried at the discretion of my hereinafter mentioned executrixes and as to my worldly estate I give and dipose of the same as followeth:

In primis I will and order all my just debts to be paid out of my real and personal estates, then all the rest and residue of my estates both real and personal I give, devise and bequeath the same to my son Thomas my daughters Rebecca, Margaret, Elizabeth and Susannah to be shared amongst them share and share alike, and I hereby constitute and appoint my said daughters to be my joint executrixes of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other and former wills by me made and ordain this to stand and be as my last will and testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the sixteenth day of January1720
